Vegetable Washer

For wet cleaning of root crops without foliage

Use the Heuling Vegetable Washer to thoroughly yet gently clean leaf-free root vegetables, such as vegetables, fruits, nuts, or flower bulbs. The items being washed are continuously rinsed with fresh water, so the produce is gently cleaned after just 2–5 minutes—depending on how dirty it is. The dirty water is immediately drained downward. Opening the rotary valve on the outlet side empties the rotating drum via a discharge chute.

Operation

The operating lever for the outlet slide gate and the hinged section of the hood can be mounted on either the left or right side of the machine (see layout examples). The side can be changed later without requiring any additional parts.

Height Adjustment

Four adjustable leg extensions ensure the optimal working height for your specific application.

Washing drum

The slotted holes in the wash drum are pressed all the way through to the outside of the drum. This reinforces the drum and creates a smooth inner wall to protect the items being washed. The wash drum is suspended by V-belts, which also provide the drive. The motor and drive shaft are located outside the wet area and therefore operate very reliably and with minimal wear.
