Whether to protect strawberries from sand buildup or to make the paths between the rows passable—spreading straw with the Heuling round-bale straw spreader is quick and precise, requiring no follow-up work. The straw spreader can be used for all standard row spacings. The straw is drawn from the front of the round bale and spread to the sides of the plant rows, well below the overhanging leaves. This allows you to spread straw very late in the spring with this machine, even after the first fruits have set. This is particularly advantageous in areas prone to night frosts.

The Heuling double-bale balefork allows you to transport two round bales at once, ensuring the straw spreader is quickly supplied with fresh straw. For even greater capacity, our bale wagon can also be attached to the straw spreader. This allows you to achieve the best possible utilization of the straw spreader.
