Protect your strawberries from sand and rot by spreading straw between the rows. Thanks to the flexible design of the Heuling Straw Spreader, it can handle round or square bales of various sizes. This specialized machine can spread straw across multiple rows and is ready for use with standard row spacing and double rows. This keeps the paths between the strawberry rows clean and walkable while reducing weed growth. The straw spreader can also be used for winter mulching or delayed straw application.

Function

The scraper floor speed is electronically controlled via straw flow measurement, ensuring a uniform straw feed to the cutting and ejection drums. The flexibly adjustable deflector plates are mounted according to the row spacing and precisely adjusted during field operation.

Tailgate

The loading door is used to hold a second bale of straw and supplies the straw spreader with more straw once the first bale has passed through.
